There’s no hiding in this cafe: limited space has forced the designer’s hands, and a cosy environment has been wrought from seats lining the walls. It can give you the feeling of sitting on the wrong side of the coffee counter, but it’s a fun arrangement and provides plenty of interest in the close quarters.

My afternoon coffee coincides with the end of the school day, and for a short while, parents and children keep coming in to grab a coffee (for mum and dad) and juice and cookie (for youngin’). It’s a great alternative to the hot chips I used to gobble all the way home from school.

My espresso has a thick, rich consistency with a sweet, buttery taste. Not strong or overpowering, but entirely pleasant. It’s a good complement to the cookie you can’t help but try -to satisfy the inner child.

What used to be a consistently great coffee has become just another average coffee – what a shame! Cafe Albano used to take coffee very seriously but suddenly lost the plot – every day there seems to be somebody different at the controls of the machine :( the new owners obviously didn’t understand how important consistency means …… disappointing!

As a regular customer I like the new changes to the place coffee and food was great and very friendly.People have gotta remember that these lovely new owner put time and effort into everything they do time for changes for the better

Appears one of the new partners has left this once great cafe. Unfortunately, it is the happy one who made the coffee! The remaining owner appears to only cook. Give it a big miss, quicker and friendlier at Maccas next door!

Dropped in again after a long while away, now I know why. Coffeee not bad, a little cold, and I had to go inside to get some service from a very angry woman who made me feel like she was doing me a favour by taking my order. The whole place was empty, surprising at lunch time!
